Update pics of my pond

I have spent some time working on the pond, it has been moving forward, just not as fast as I'd like. Always seems to be something that comes up or I end up watching the koi swim around for 15 minutes. I have most of the retaining wall block up around the edge. I see that I didn't upload that picture though.

I had an issue with tea colored water. I really didn't care, as the water was clear, but as time went on, I wanted my clear water back. I had to figure out what I did that caused it, and then the light came on. I added around 14 pots of lilly pads. My parents have a cabin on a lake and have a bog in front of their cabin and a massive growth of lilly pads. Every spring their "seeds" break off and wash a shore. I just pick them up and plant them. When I planted them, not thinking I used potting soil, and covered the exposed with rocks. I ended up adding 14 pots of decomposing rotting mess, all the stuff I'm trying to filter out. I pulled every pot and replaced with just dirt and covered again with rock. After the first day I even noticed a huge difference.

In the pictures the cattails are not where they belong. We have some 45+ mph winds and bluew them off their shelf. The ones on the left are suppose to be to the left of the waterfalls, needless to say, I'll be getting wet when I decide to move them back.

Still have 2 frogs. They now jump onto the ledge and sun themselves, mostly in the early mornings. I'm surprised they always jump back into the pond. Frist time I saw one up their, I figured it'd be gone.

There are 3 or 4 koi that sit at the base of the waterfalls and eat the algae. The one will jump out of the water several inches and eat it. It's fun to watch. I wasn't quite quick enough to catch him jumping though.
